Bill of materials
Per-quote purchase list with required vs purchase quantity, overage and a CSV export.
Every quote has a bill of materials (BOM) tab on /quote/[id]/detail. It shows the consumable variants only — features and labor are excluded.
Columns
- Category — the line-item group.
- Item — the variant name.
- Required — the engine-computed amount and unit (e.g. 47 ft).
- Purchase — the rounded-up purchase quantity using variant capacity (e.g. 4 × 12 ft rails).
- Overage — the % over what is strictly required, useful for spotting wasteful spec.
- Unit price / Total — the line cost.
CSV export
Click Export CSV on the BOM tab. The file is named bom-{customer-name}.csv.
