Keeping old quotes safe when templates change

When you change a template you do not want to silently break quotes you have already sent to customers. Quotespan handles this with template snapshots and a built-in change check.

Drafts auto-update

A quote in draft status is recalculated every time you open it. If the underlying template moved, prices update.

Sent / accepted are frozen

Once a quote leaves draft, the numbers never change automatically. The quote stores a snapshot of the template it was built from, so even if you delete the template later the quote still displays correctly.

Change indicator

Each draft quote shows a small indicator when the template behind it has changed, so you know what was updated and why.
