Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (the “Use Policy”) describe what you may and may not do while using Quotespan (the “Service”). They supplement our Terms of Service.
1. Permitted use
You may use the Service to build, send, and manage estimates and to capture leads in the ordinary course of your business, in compliance with all applicable laws and these Terms.
2. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to, and not to allow others to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose.
- Upload or transmit content that infringes the intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights of any party.
- Send unsolicited communications (“spam”) or harvest contact information without proper consent.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or access controls.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including by introducing malware or excessive load.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service, except to the extent permitted by law.
- Use automated means (scrapers, bots) to access or extract data beyond what is offered through documented APIs.
- Use the Service to develop a competing product, or to benchmark its performance for publication without our prior written consent.
- Misrepresent your affiliation with any person, business, or government entity.
- Generate or distribute content that is harassing, threatening, hateful, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
3. Customer data & consent
You are solely responsible for any data you collect from end customers via public quote forms, including obtaining the consents and providing the notices required by applicable law (such as GDPR, CCPA, or analogous regulations) before submitting their information to the Service.
4. Quote accuracy
The Service computes prices based on the inputs and rules you configure. You are responsible for reviewing each generated quote before sharing it with a customer. We are not responsible for errors that result from misconfigured templates, incorrect inputs, or out-of-date pricing.
5. Reporting abuse
If you believe someone is using the Service in violation of this policy, please report it to [email protected].
6. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, including warning, suspending, or terminating accounts, removing content, and cooperating with law enforcement.
7. Changes
We may update this Use Policy from time to time. We will post the new version with an updated “Last updated” date.
